The Barrel Scope is iridescent glass that has been slumped in the kiln. The scope is approximately 10" long. As you turn the barrel, the bright bands of glass and decorative soldering creates an amazing 3D effect. This scope is beautifully showcased on a slumped glass stand with reflecting mirror insert.
A lampworked dichroic glass bead holds the barrel wheel on the axle. The three mirror system means the image fills the inner chamber.
