Dichroic Glass Bracelets
Batik
Bead Bracelets
These bracelets are created with wire wrapping techniques and were a featured project in Lark Books "Making Bead & Wire Jewelry" . The wire I use is sterling silver or gold filled. I also make the dichroic glass beads with a torch. I call this style Batik Beads because I've laid a pattern of transparent glass over the dichroic creating a batiked look. These bracelets should fit between your wrist bone and hand. Take your measurement and add 1/2" for a nice fit.

Choose from three styles of sterling silver pattern wire and see the pendant samples (below) to pick out your favorite glass color. Each bracelet is handmade to order. I fuse the dichroic glass using two or three layers of dichroic and translucent glass. I hand saw a silver backing and solder bezel edging around it to hold the glass cabochon, which I then solder to the pattern wire. The back is open so is easy to slip on.
